Description[ | ]
A daimyō of the Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo Periods. The sixth daughter of Tokugawa Ieyasu, she was disfavored by her mother and given to Minamoto Hiroteru to raise. Though she never spoke with Ieyasu, even on her mother's deathbed, Ieyasu left her treasured flute Nokase to Tadateru when she passed. It's safe to say that she had a complicated relationship with her mother.
